Does Macbeth being Gullible get him into or out of trouble? Why?

This is very similar to your last question. It hurts him and leads him into trouble.He believes what he wants to believe. This sends him down a one way trip to self-destruction. Gullibility is also one of Macbeth's tragic flaws which means the undoing of many characters.
