How do events and major characters empower or disempower seyton

Seyton is such a minor figure in this play. He doesn't really get any empowerment fro Macbeth; he only gets a lot of paranoid gibberish from a King tht knows his days are numbered. I would say that as things look bleaker Seyton's best bet for any empowerment is to get out of the castle, with everybody else.
