I can't write your essay for you but I can give you some ideas. Consider that Macbeth was considered a "noble" servant and soldier for King Duncan. The Sergeant had given Duncan a glowing review of Macbeth's exploits in the battlefield. Macbeth however is not content in his role as hero figure. We see this when the witches exploit his insecurities. The mere suggestion of being king stirs Macbeth's imagination and sets him off into the tragic hero we have come to know.
