How would you recreate the witches performance in act 1 to make it more interesting?

I think this question was asked before. Although I feel the play is pretty much perfection you might put a dofferent, more modern, spin on them. You might make the witches not look like traditional witches but retain the very "evil" aspects of them. 

If the question is asking this in regards to props etc. in a play/movie then you could say to add fake smoke with dry ice and have eerie lighting to emphasize the mysterious and "spooky" mood. The witches can be different shapes and sizes, for instance have one very old and quiet, an attractive one who may be intelligent, and a demonic one that is vicious and evil. Take advantage of audio effects and have scattered disembodied voices whispering.
