manipulation in Macbeth

Ambition is a major theme in Macbeth. Initially, L. Macbeth is the one with the burning ambition. While her husband flip flops over his own fortune, L. Macbeth seems certain.

Glamis thou art, and Cawdor; and shalt be

What thou art promised: yet do I fear thy nature;

It is too full o' the milk of human kindness....

L. Macbeth manipulates her husband into killing Duncan. She mostly questions his manhood knowing that this will manipulate him into killing Duncan. Later Macbeth turns into a socio-path bent on keeping his newly realized ambition as king. The witches too manipulate Macbeth. They never tell Macbeth what to do rather merely suggest things that mess with his mind.
