5. How does Lady Macbeth persuade Macbetch to kill Duncan?

1. What is Macbeth like at the start of the play?

At the start of the play, Macbeth is Thane of Glamis. He seems content with his status as the decorated soldier. He shows his insecurities when he meets the witches. We see his desire for power as well as his ambivalence for "evil deeds" to get this power. It will take Macbeth to push him into his obsessive desires for control.
