Your question asks too much detail for this short space. L. Macbeth is basically asking the spirits to turn her into a man so she can have the courage to kill king Duncan. This really gives the reader a sense of L.Macbeth's ruthlessness or rather how she tries to show that she is ruthless. It is ironic because she already more ruthless than any male character in the play.
