what are some of accomplishments of macbeth

Macbeth accomplished quite a bid before he killed Duncan. He became Thane of Cawdor and was a war hero. King Duncan had great things for Macbeth planned. Macbeth really didn't accomplish much by killing the king. His life actually spirals downward as he becomes paranoid and mentally fragile after being crowned.
