Macbeth
what are the similarity and differences in between the kite runner and Macbeth in the topic of healing?
thank you
thank you
These are such radically different pieces of literature. I suppose that for Macbeth, there is no healing or redemption. Macbeth made his grave and, in the end, must lie in it. Amir is much more of a relatable character than an 11th century paranoid Scottish king. We can understand Amir's emotional wounds and crushing sense of guilt. Amir's healing takes place in small increments until he makes that final trip to Afghanistan to save Hassan's son.
