Macbeth and Banquo don't make prophesies. They get them from the witches before Macbeth murders Duncan. The witches say that Macbeth will become Thane of Cawdor and King. Banquo will not be king but have sons who will. This spurs Macbeth on to hasten the witch's suggestions and kill Duncan. Macbeth kills Banquo before the second set of prophesies.

First apparition:

" Beware of Macduff!" Macbeth needed to be beware of Macduff but, at the same time, he is told that no man of woman born can harm him .

Second apparition:

Be bloody, bold, and resolute; laugh to scorn The power of man, for none of woman born Shall harm Macbeth. It turns out that Macduff was "untimely ripped" from his mother's womb. That was not considered a "normal birth" and hence he was technically, by Elizabethan standards, not born of woman.

Third apparition-

Macbeth shall never vanquish’d be until Great Birnam Wood to high Dunsinane Hill hall come against him. The soldiers attacking Macbeth cut down the trees of Great Birnam Wood to hide their numbers as they approach the castle hence it looks like the wood is walking towards him.

The witches prophecies for Macbeth were that Macbeth will become:

Thane of Glamis, Thane of Cawdor and king of Scotland.
Banquos descendants will become king.
