whom do macbeth command to kill the murders

In the actual play, I don't think Macbeth actually kills the murderers. Macbeth does send a third murderer to "check" on the other two but he does not have them killed. One shows up at the banquet to relate that half the job was done (Fleance escapes)but he just kind of walks away.I do know in movie versions like Polanski's Macbeth, the murderers do get killed.
