What do Hally's conversations with Sam and Willie reveal about his racial attitudes?

Hally is quite open to friendship between the races. At his core, Willy is not fettered with the racism so entrenched in South African white society. The conversations are eclectic and often void of racial judgment. Still racism does exist within Hally as he later treats his two friends differently. Once the race card is played, they can never go back.
