Do you think Artie will find his mother’s diaries? Why or why not? Use evidence from this chapter to support your answer.

I have read the book so I know that Artie finds out that his father burned his mother's diary (sorry spoiler alert!). Still, looking at Vladek throughout the story, we can see his pain when it comes to his first wife. Vladek is a man who thinks deliberately and hence does deliberate things to deal with his emotions. It makes sense that he would burn the diary to ease his pain
