does the knowledge that some Nazis fraternize with their victims make their crimes more or less horrible?

This question calls for your opinion, there is no right or wrong answer. Based on history, Nazi fratenization sometimes led to a reversal of opinion.... some Nazis actually began working for the prisoners rather than against them. Fraternization also meant that some prisoners received better treatment. Although the process itself is wrong.... the little bit of good it did was the only positive amidst the horror. The Nazis were evil, despicable animals..... but some of them changed their ways in response to interactions they had with the prisoners.
