What are some of the most important scenes in both of the graphic novels?

The key events in this novel all revolve around Art's guilt. Could he have been a better son, his mother's death, publishing Maus itself. The climax of the novel is definitely Vladek and Anja's experiences in the death camps at Auschwitz. We are spared none of the brutality or the horror. It gripping and it's emotionally draining to read.
