What would you have done if you were a Jew living in Poland during the WW2. What would you have done if you were a Pole? A German? Why?

If I were a Jew, I would have tried to leave when rumors first started that there was trouble coming. Rumors abounded that the Jews were being targeted, but no one believed them. Not the Jews, the Poles, or in many cases even the Germans themselves. By the time people really understood Hitler's real plan it was too late. His goal was so completely vile no one could believe it was true.... at least not until it invaded their towns and affected the people around them.
