Why is the title for this chapter, “Mouse Trap,” fitting for what happens in this chapter?

Anja and Vladek are sneaking back towards Sosnowiec. THey spend much of the chapter hiding in sheds, houses and wherever they can escape being trapped by the Gestapo.
