I would say that Isabella was selfless in that she sacrificed hr virginity for the life of her brother. She gave him the gift of life..... do you think this makes her a bad person?

No i dont think so tht she will be a bad human being..because she is about to save his own brother 's life..and also she is sacrificing her life..but on the other hand Lord Angelo is emphasizing too much and being so lustful...and also Claudio had made a girl pregnant without marrying her.. so why Isabella should suffer all this??

I don't think she could be classed as either since she sacrifieced someone else's virginity instead of her own. Since she used Mariana as a pawn to save her brother it would stand to reason that she is a selfish character, since she is somewhat hypocritical in condemning another woman to the fate she so desperately wants to avoid.
