Act II, Scene V, How does Shylock's comments/ instructions seem to aid in justifying Jessica's behaviour and decision?

Jessica rebels against Shylock's strict control over her and lack of empathy. Shylock decides to lock Jessica in her room to prevent her from going to a party. This only emboldens Jessica to rebel further against Shylock.
