The Prince of Morocco immediately addresses the color of his skin and good looks. He also takes care to mention that his blood runs as red as any man's blood. Morocco is trying to erase any barrier the color of his skin might cause to deter Portia's interest. In turn, she tells Morocco that her father has made the stipulations for their marraige. She has no choice in the matter.
