In Act three Scene two. When Portia and Bassanio talk for the first time in the story she asks Bassanio to wait a day or two, in case he chooses the wrong casket she will lose his company which she does not to accept. She says that she is willing to tell him how to choose the correct casket, but she did she would go against the oath that she took.
