“My sister’s doing real well, though. She married a guy who owns a chain of tanning salons. They have a real nice home and two little kids.”
“Do you see much of her?”
“Nah, she doesn’t have much to do with the family. She got married young to get away. That’s because my folks used to fight a lot before my mother left.”
