A Midsummer Night's Dream
do the promises and faithfulness of the characters in the play give an optimistic or pessimistic view of poeple's ability to keep their promises?
promise and commitments of the four lovers
promise and commitments of the four lovers
Their promises outside of the forest are completely truthful and heartfelt....... evertything within the forest occurs because of the domino effect of Puck's mishaps...... he certainly puts things up for grabs, but none of them catch on.
Sorry........ I'm going to have to go with optimistic. All promises made before entrance to the forest and magical moments had everything to do with being faithful to those things they promised to do.
