A Midsummer Night's Dream

Helena’s anger at Hermia

External or Internal?

How did characters attempt to solve the problem/conflict?

What was the result in the end?

This conflict also falls into the extenal and internal sphere. These girl's are best friends, their argument is emotional. It's hard to believe their relationship will survive the sudden turn of events. Hermia is sure she has the love of two men, Helena has no one...... then suddenly, not only has Helena garnered the love of the man Hermia doesn't want, but she's got the man she loves.

There is no apparent attempt to solve this problem, as the girls are too emotional to do anything but hurl accusations. The end result, they both get the man of their dreams.
