Well Demetrius used to like Helena until he dumped her for Hermia. Both Demetrius and Lysander make light of Helena until they get soused with love potion; then they like her. Helena hates love and everything to do with it. One can generalize that Helena hates herself thinking that she is unworthy of romantic love.
