explain how each of the following plays a significant role in Misha's life in the next part of the novel. Black pearls, Angels, and the Merry-Go-Round horse,
Misha collects black pearls (coal) for the orphanage in order to help keep the children warm. It is a selfless act of labor. When Misha gives the bag of black pearls to Dr. Korczak, the doctor alludes to the fact that Misha is a black pearl. His words have two meanings.... one, when he shows Misha his reflection..... he is as black as the coal he's collected. Two.... Misha's act makes him a valuable person.
