Revenge

What topics would you describe when refering to the theme revenge? Obviously there is Ahab seeking revenge on the white whale for taking his leg, however what other points would there be?

Ahab's revenge is the main subject of the story. I don't think you should be looking for other instances of revenge, but rather the "reason" for revenge. Can you gain revenge on an animal? Did the whale take Ahab's leg with malice and forethought? How do the people around Ahab react to this obsessive quest?
