what do you think are the advantages and disadvantages of going on a whaling trip? would you be able to spend time at sea?

This sounds like a general question. I don't know much about whaling ships other than what is in Moby Dick. I don't know what they are like now. I don't imagine there are many whaling ships left. I personally could not watch or be a part of a whale being killed. I think back in the era of Moby Dick, there might have been a sense of adventure, travel, mystery, and camaraderie on one of these ships.
