On pg. 22 of the text, Petrocelli that the two men who participated in the robbery were Richard "Bobo" Evans and James King. Steve Harmon was an accomplice.

Richard "Bobo" Evans ~ obo is the other young man who is accused of taking part of the crime. He is accused of taking the money from the register in the drugstore and of also taking the carton of cigarettes.

Steve Harmon ~ The main character; a 16-year-old African American teenager on trial for murder. Kathy O'Brien: "The Defense Attorney with Doubts". Steve's lawyer, who questions his innocence, but tries her best to defend him

James King ~ Took Controll of Mr. Nesbitts gun and shot him with it with it. ( Mr. Nesbitt still had his hands on the gun but James King still shot him with it.)

Osvaldo Cruz ~ A fourteen-year-old boy who participates in the robbery of the convenience store. He is a member of the street gang known as the Diablos and is portrayed as an unreliable witness throughout Steve Harmon's trial.

Aguinaldo Nesbitt ~ Murder Victim

José Delgado ~ A young, well built drugstore clerk
