I am not sure what you are confused by in this scene, but the scene has to do with the fact that one of Antonio's servants has heard that the Prince wants to marry Leonato's daughter, Antonio's niece, and the Prince intends to propose at the dance tonight. Leonato intends to tell his daughter about the upcoming proposal so that she will be prepared when the offer is made.
