how do you feel about the different paths taken by jim and antonia? do you want them to see each other again? why or why not?

Antonia takes the simple path, one that leaves her with her father. She is content, happy, and wants for nothing because she has the love of family around her. Jim also moves on to be with family, but in leaving Antonia, he leaves the closest relationship he's ever had. I would love to see them together again, but I don't think either one of them would ultimately be happy in the end.
