what is jims perdonality like?

Jim begins as a ten year old on a new adventure. Recently orphaned we can gather he is a brave but naive boy. Jim is a dynamic character though, he goes through many changes by the book's ending. Jim is a passionate person who sees the beauty in people and places. Initially closed minded to "immigrants" we watch him being drawn to Antonia in both a sexual and emotional way. Although passionate inside Jim is not assertive and keeps many of his longings hidden.
