Before the debate, Isabel was somewhat nervous because she didn't know what to expect. Afterward, she admits that she had a good time, and she describes the great feeling of debating freely, rather than the stuffy way they do it at her school.
ISABEL: I meant what I said to him. I really did have a good time.
Thami: Same here.
ISABEL: You did? Because to be honest with you, I wasn’t expecting it.
Thami: Me neither.
