form of writing
Native Son is written in the third person, allowing us a glimpse of the protagonist's feelings, views, and utter confusion. The intertwines the narration with analysis, keeping the text fluid and cohesive. He does this so well that you don't even realize the 'statements' and 'point of view' he interjects.
