Babamukuru

Babamukuru was Tambu's Tambu's wealthy, foreign-schooled uncle. He pursued higher education, which resulted in his financial success. Tambu's uncle has lived in England with his wife, Maiguru, and their children, Nyasha and Chido, for five years. When he comes to visit, he offers to fund her brother's education and later her own. He is not "the sort of person who is easily cajoled;" he supports his entire family and wants to work towards their betterment. He still holds onto many of his traditional values about gender roles, leading him to clash with both his wife (Maiguru), his niece, and his daughter (Nyasha).
