Night
Describe the conditions in the train. How many people to a car? Food? Room?
how many people to a car how much food
how many people to a car how much food
The train conditions are sub-human. They were corralled into dark and damp box cars like cattle. There was no washrooms, water or air. They looked outside through small holes in the siding of the train. There are no bathrooms so the stench is unbearable. Madame Schater constantly lamented about their eventual fate. She screamed about the fires and the ovens but nobody believed her. Many felt she was crazy or simply instilling fear. When they finally arrived the ominous flames in the sky told them otherwise.
