I can try to remember a few for you:

Mrs. Schächter is screaming about fire in the cattle car. People say she is crazy but when they arrive at Birkenau, everyone sees the smokestacks in the air and fire in the sky.

Elie sees a pit of fire into which small children are being dumped alive.

Elie considers killing himself by throwing himself on electric wire.

The hanging of the young boy Pipel affects Elie the most. As Elie witnesses the hanging of the young Pipel, he feels that it is his God who is hanging on the gallows.
