What did Moshe witness when he was shipped to Poland? Why does he want the Jews of Sighet to know what he saw?

Moshe saw the trainloads of Jews being shipped to camps. He saw the beginnings of genocide and he wanted the Jews of Sighet not to be complacent. He wanted them to get out while they still could.
