What does the Blockalteste become angry at the men after they ask him about their names being added to the list?

Chapter 5. Was he sorta fed up with them? Maybe even upset that they did not take his word when he said they would be okay?

The Blockalteste was weary and protective of the men. He'd already warned them what they needed to do in order to pass the test; he was emotionally shot and didn't want to be questioned.
