Why do the men not seek revenge when they are liberated?

All the men can think about after liberation is taking care of their immediate needs. They're starving, sick, and exhausted. Their mental and physical health is the most important priority. I'm sure locating family members was just as important, as well as the need to mourn the dead. Through Wiesel's words at the end of the book, we can see that many of the men desire revenge..... that they even believe it is necessary. None-the-less, this section is very short, and we can infer that those who survived understood that revenge wouldn't change the atrocities they'd experienced at the hands of the Nazis.
