Why do you think Eliezer recited the Kaddish in spite of himself?

Elizer needed something. His faith was all that he had. His prayers, initially anyway, sustained him. They gave him a framework for hope and rational thought. I suppose I might do the same thing. Fortunately nothing close to this has ever happened to me but I imagine I would need something to believe in. I would need something to explain the Hell I was in and something to sustain my identity that has been so forcefully stripped from me.
