Would this book have been better if Eliezer Wiesel had given the audience a more"uplifting" tone in the end? Why or why not?

Eliezer's tone reflects the truth of his feelings. To use a false tone...... an uplifting tone, would have negated what Wiesel intended to convey in the text.
