To what extent does Achebe's writing make you sympathize with Clara?

I think we can sympathize with Clara. She is ultimately a sympathetic character, especially after her abortion. We want her to catch a break in life, away from men who treat her badly. She leaves Pbi and Lagos after her abortion.

I feel like even added to her abortion , the fact that she is an OSU ( outcast) from the Igbo society makes her deserve more of our pity because sgs is an OSU she is deprived the opportunity to marry her heartthrob ( obi ) in addition she has also been treated badly by her past romantic partners 😪
