2. How does Oedipus exhibit weakness of character? Point to the scenes that reveal him as imperfectly noble in his words, deeds, or treatment of others.

Oedipus is somewhat filled with hubris; he often acts superior to everyone.  At one point, we see the dramatic irony in his situation when he says that he will find the murderer (the audience knows that he is the murderer) and that that murderer will be exiled.  He is quite ignoble when he accuses Teiresias of being in league with some of the "scum" of Thebes.
