after hearing Teiresias words Oedipus suspects some kind of conspiracy. Explain?

Tiresias delivers his horrible prophecy. Oedipus believes that Creon has paid Tiresias to give fake prophecies in order to drive him (Oedipus) away and take the crown for himself.
