Oedipus Rex

It is the Chorus who convinces Oedipus to let Creon leave, even after Oedipus has sincerely accused him of treason, and threatened to have him killed. Oedipus reasons that it could be folly to let Creon out of his sight, but the Chorus begs for his life, and Oedipus assents, demonstrating his just rule that considers his people.
