What are 2 parts in the story when Oedipus was being ignorant?

I don't have the play in front of me but I'm going to go for the obvious. Oedipus kills his own father and marries his mother. Even though he doesn't know initially that he killed his father in a fit of road or path rage, he certainly could have put the pieces together when he reaches the city.
