I do feel empathy for Lennie because he doesn't fully understand the consequences of his actions. His strength often gets him into trouble, but his intentions are usually kind, and he genuinely wants to make George proud. At the same time, his actions have tragic consequences, which makes him a complex character who is both sympathetic and heartbreaking.
