The Boss is suspicious because Lennie and George travel as a pair. He is also suspicious because Geoge answers lennie's questions for him, he thinks that George is taking advantage of Lennie. Most workers move from job to job on their own.
"I said what stake you got in this guy? You takin' his pay away from him?"
"No, 'course I ain't. Why ya think I'm sellin' him out?"
"Well, I never seen one guy take so much trouble for another guy.
I just like to know what your interest is."

Ragdoll Drop revolves around letting a loose-bodied character fall through dangerous setups. I found it amusing how every drop turned out slightly different.
