Character who supports alienation and how they support it?

In Chapter 2, I'd have to say Curley's wife. In this chapter we see the extent of her alienation from the others on the ranch. The men are afraid of her husband (because he can fire them, not physical fear), and the men think she's trouble....... so they want her to stay away.
